A Senior Event Sales Manager is responsible for the development of market segments and solicitation of new customer relationships and existing customer relationships. Represents the hotel at conferences and other external sales presentations to groups and prospective customers to solicit, explain, negotiate and close group and local catering business. Meets with and entertains customers, conducts property tours, participates in tradeshows, industry and community events to promote facilities and services. Negotiates contracts and establish agreements with vendors. Maximizes revenue and promotes relationships through negotiation of services and prices. ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:QUALIFICATIONS:* Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years of hotel sales experience.* 1 year of food and beverage experience.* Excellent organization and time management skills with attention to detail.* Ability to upsell, proactive sales approach, assertive and driven.* Able to execute a sales and marketing plan to enhance revenue and negotiate contracts* Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.* Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Team Members.* Experience with major Hospitality Sales CRM systems.EOE AA- Minorities/Females/Vet/Disability/Gender Identity/Sexual OrientationDavidson Hotels & Resorts is a drug free workplace.
